Cioccolato!

The Chocolate Fair is going on here in Florence and it's addicting!

The fair has been here for the past week and ends this weekend.  It takes over the entire Republica Square and has about 15 different vendors, each having their own signature chocolate.

I of course started off with a yummy, and super fattening Chocolate covered WAFFLE!  It was super yummy, and almost as good as the waffle I had in Belgium.

Of course, we couldn't stop at just the waffle, we had to end our tour of the chocolate fair with chocolate covered strawberries and bananas topped with whipped cream!

Tomorrow we will most definitely going for a long run to work off all the yummy chocolate.  Mina is currently slaving away in the kitchen attempting to make risotto with chicken and asparagus for dinner!  I'm currently just watching her cook until I receive orders to stir or chop up something :)

Since we will be gone the next 3 weekends to Rome, Venice, and Tuscany we decided to stay home in Florence and enjoy the many things we have yet to do/see here!  You could live in this city for years and still not get to experience all the wonderful things it has to offer.  Ciao!
